It’s the moment everyones been waiting for. Well, perhaps not the iPhone evangelists. But, regardless of your persuasion, be it Apple or Android, I think we can all appreciate a work of art.And let’s face it, the Galaxy S10 is a work of art.

So there it is. The 10th iteration of the iconic Galaxy line. And here’s what everyone wants to know:The new line will contain three models. The Galaxy S10E, The S10, and the S10 plus priced at €769, €919 and €1019 respectively. All three models are now available for pre-order and will begin shipping in early march.

Samsung are forging ahead with their perpetual struggle to eliminate the phone bezel and although they still haven’t quite managed it, I don’t think they’ll have too many complaints, the phone is just stunning.

Comparison between the S10 plus (left) and the S10 (right -obviously)

Both the S10 and S10 plus have considerably larger displays than their previous counterparts but manage to keep similar dimensions – just slightly larger than previously. In fact, the S10 plus is slightly smaller than the S9 plus despite having a 0.2″ larger display.

With a 19:9 aspect ratio & 1440 pixels wide, the display is absolutely stunning with bright, vibrant colours that jump off the screen. The characteristic curved edges meld seamlessly into the aluminium frame providing an immaculate finish.

The screen doesn’t just look great, it’s also functional. Hidden underneath lies the new ultrasonic fingerprint scanner replacing the traditional capacitive scanner on the rear of the handset. Samsung boasts this that their new scanner is the “most advanced” on the market. They claim it’s more reliable, harder to fool and all round better performing than those offered by comparable models. Considering Samsung’s reputation, it’s probably a good idea to take their claim at face value.

One thing to note, is that the new scanner may not work correctly with “thicker” screen protectors. Don’t worry, all our screen protectors will be fully compatible with the phone.

Let’s talk tech. The front camera has been upgraded to 10 megapixels, this is complemented by a second 8-megapixel front camera for better depth sensing and portrait modes. Powering the handset is the Snapdragon 855 processor with either 8 or 12gb of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. It’s just crazy the amount of tech packed into this little powerhouse.

Battery capacity has also been bumped up. The S10 features a 3,400mah battery and the plus packs a meaty 4,100mah. Both support wireless and fast charging. We don’t have much more information on the S10 yet but will update as more details emerge. We are currently beginning to stock Galaxy S10 cases and will continue to boost our inventory prior to release date.
